We were fortunate to have Rise and Shine to help look after both my Mum and Dad in their latter stages of life, in the autumn of 2024.
Both Mum and Dad's health failed and they were cared for at home until they passed away.
The team of carers were always punctual, friendly, caring and professional, who did everything they possibly could to help and really couldn't have done any more.
Mum's passing was in hospital, but Dad's was at home and they couldn't have been more helpful and supportive to me, at a very difficult time.
A big thank you, to the whole team.
The care assistant who visited Mum for a 3-hour call today has left Mum feeling more than satisfied.
She has gone above and beyond what was expected of her.
She has washed, dried and ironed all of mum's clothing. Stripped the bed, washed the bedding, and re-made it with fresh linen. She has cleaned the bathroom, hoovered and polished throughout, as well as cooking a meal.
Mum rang me to say how impressed she was, saying she'd never seen anyone work so hard.
Thank you to all staff & management at Rise & Shine for all you have done for Marie & supporting us. Marie is Safe now and Slowly setting in.

The carer is punctual, polite, makes everything, very carefully, ensuing my father is happy with anything they are going to do which is all explained fully before anything happens. Overall excellent experience thus far.
FN and SN were both professional whilst being very caring, personable and very good natured. They treated my wife with respect and maintained her dignity at all times. At difficult times they remained good humoured and I cannot recommend them hight enough.
Mum had a live in carer from 1pm Friday afternoon through till 8am Saturday morning. She really enjoyed it usually Sue lives alone, and she said "To have someone there gave her peace of mind"
The carer worked very hard all afternoon, but took the time to sit with mum during the evening. They watched T.V together and chatted about Mum's past. Mum said she wished it could happen every week but sadly we don't have the funding.
They are very good and excellent in all aspects for caring for patients. They listed to the people they are for and treat them with respect and patience. We call them angels of mercy.
The care team go beyond their means, even when they were coming to hospital. The whole staff are polite, warming and understand your needs.
They cared for my father and made sure he was comfortable and treated him with dignity on every visit. Faith + Sandra are brilliant and really help you.
